Jackie Brunton is the founder and owner of Labour Neighbour. Having spent 32 summers in Muskoka, she recognizes that the beauty of the most sought after land in Ontario requires some special attention. Her love of the outdoors sparked the idea to branch out on her own to create a multi-service company to address the needs of Muskoka families. As a result – Labour Neighbour was born.
Jackie is a graduate of Dalhousie University. She is passionate about the environment and conservation and has spent the last few winters spearheading a sustainable biofuel and reforestation project in Madagascar.
Jackie loves life and she’ll put her passion for nature into the work that Labour Neighbour can do for you.
Labour neighbour is a family run business with Jackie's sister Leslie at the helm of management from its inception. She has a deep passion for the outdoors, horticulture, permaculture and environmental sustainability.
Leslie's patience and eye for detail has transformed many of our gardens and has been the backbone for training all employees in the gardens. She has spent the last three winters developing her skills in greenhouse management and is busy mapping out the exciting future of Labour Neighbour.
